Discover things in our region

We are located in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in Occitanie, in the towns of Cazes-Mondenard and Vazérac, in the heart of the major sites of the Midi-Pyrénées region.

We are at:

– less than 10 km from Lafrançaise: its leisure centre (lake with beach, fishing and pedal boats), its bi-weekly market, its multiple events.

– 13 km from Castelnau-Montratier (the gateway to the Lot region, its leisure centre with swimming pool, its gourmet market)

– 14 km from Moissac (a major center of Romanesque art, its cloister, the Tarn river…)

– 15 km from Lauzerte (a bastide town in Quercy, classified as one of the "most beautiful villages in France". These villages are selected for the quality of their heritage, architecture and environment)

– 15 km from the Canal du Midi (walks – cycling – boating – fishing...)

– 20 km from Montcuq (its narrow streets and Sunday market) – 30 km from Montauban (city of art and history – the Ingres Museum – its aquatic center with diving pit, its golf course...) – 30 km from Montaigu du Quercy (magnificent leisure park with a large lake, fine sandy beach, water games, restaurant) – 35 km from Cahors (its Valentré Bridge, its historic center, the Lot River) – 40 km from Bruniquel (superb preserved village, its narrow streets, its old stones, its flowers, its castle and the magnificent view over the Aveyron River and its gorges) – 55 km from Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (voted the most beautiful village in France in 2012 by TF1) – 50 km from the Aveyron Gorges and Saint Antonin Noble Val (picturesque village and magnificent canoe trips) 70 km from Agen and its Walibi theme park – 75 km from Cordes-sur-Ciel (a stunning medieval village in the Tarn region) – 75 km from Toulouse (the Pink City!) – In summer, in the evenings, on different days in the heart of the villages (Thursdays in Lauzerte, for example), gourmet markets take place. These are markets featuring local producers, where you can eat on-site, choosing from the various stalls. Tables are provided, sometimes there's live music, and you can dance until the early hours...

But of course, if you don't feel like going anywhere, you can enjoy yourself on site:

– from your private garden

– the swimming pool and its sun loungers . . .

– the surrounding green countryside, and the local flora and fauna.

– walking trails starting from the gîte (on foot, by bike, by mountain bike or even on horseback)

– For cycling enthusiasts and riders, Grégory (who is one himself!) can advise you on the most beautiful road cycling, gravel and mountain biking routes in the area. Come ride and train on hilly or flat routes of your choice, with the added possibility of using roads with little car traffic.

And for food lovers, many farms in the surrounding area offer tours and tastings (cheeses, wines, foie gras, Chasselas grapes from Moissac, plums, peaches, apples, etc.). Indeed, Tarn-et-Garonne is often considered the orchard of the Midi-Pyrénées region (Chasselas grapes, plums, apples, kiwis). Wine has also contributed to the region's reputation, thanks to the vineyards of Cahors, Coteaux du Quercy, Fronton, and others.
